The iOS application Sky Wizard is created by Hishara Weerasinghe and published by Stephen Innovations via its developer account on the App Store.
The only information collected by Sky Wizard is the user’s approximate location. This data is accessed through the device’s GPS hardware to provide relevant weather conditions. The app does not collect or access the user’s precise location.
The collected location data is not stored or saved by Sky Wizard. It is solely used to determine the current weather conditions and to obtain the city name through reverse geocoding.
Sky Wizard guarantees that no collected information will be shared or sold to third parties. The app does not collect or transmit any personal information such as names, addresses, or phone numbers.
Users have the right to know which services the app uses to obtain the city name and weather information. This information is detailed in the “About Application” screen within the app, including the sources of data.
The collected location data is sent to the data source APIs (weather, city name) through HTTPS, which uses encryption. Therefore, the data is encrypted during network transmission and only decrypted once received.
The location data is accessed by the system APIs (CoreLocation). The app does not retain any data after accessing it.
The app does not use any third-party libraries that collect or analyze user data.
The app is not designed specifically for children. However, there is no harmful content in the app for children.
